Choose the GovScout Pro plan that fits the way you are pursuing federal work

GovScout Pro is an AI-powered federal contracting advisory and pursuit workspace for small businesses. Start small if you are learning, then move up when you need Marcus to help with live opportunities, document review, partner research, bid packages, and serious pursuit discipline.

Buy the plan for the decision you need to make

Beginner helps you get oriented and build the basics. Intermediate helps you review live opportunities, documents, alerts, and pipeline decisions. Professional helps you move from decision support into capture planning, bid package work, outreach workflow, and serious proposal preparation.

The value is not another search box. The value is a cleaner bid, team, hold, or pass decision before you spend proposal time.

Try before you pay

The 3-day limited trial lets you test Marcus, basic search, and the workflow without opening the full platform. It includes 5 Marcus messages per hour, 2 saved searches, 2 pipeline items, and no document intel or bid package builder.

Usage limits and billing clarity

The 3-day limited trial is intentionally small: 5 Marcus messages per hour, 2 saved searches, 2 pipeline items, and no Document Intelligence or Bid Package Builder. Paid plans unlock the limits shown in the comparison tables above.

Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. After signup, customers can manage payment method, invoices, and cancellation through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future billing according to the billing state Stripe sends back to GovScout.

Plan naming and billing safety

Beginner, Intermediate, and Professional are public display labels for customers. Internal billing plan IDs, checkout routes, Stripe subscription metadata, and entitlement checks must stay stable unless Engineering, QA, Security, and Release Management approve a coordinated billing migration.

This keeps pricing copy flexible without risking accidental plan relabeling inside Stripe, customer access, webhooks, or subscription recovery.

Not sure where to start?

Use the free fit check, copy the free GovCon templates, or read how to use Marcus. When you are ready, Marcus can turn that work into a live pursuit plan inside GovScout Pro.

Which plan should a small business choose?

Beginner is for owners who still need to understand SAM.gov, NAICS, set-asides, capability statements, and whether federal work is realistic. It is the lowest-friction way to learn the workflow before you start saving a serious pipeline.

Intermediate is the best first paid plan for most active users. Choose it when you are ready to search opportunities, save targets, receive alerts, review documents, and ask Marcus to help decide which opportunities deserve time.

Professional is for users who are already managing pursuits. Choose it when you need bid package work, deeper capture planning, more pipeline discipline, and a workflow that supports serious proposal decisions.

Before you upgrade

GovScout Pro helps organize and accelerate federal contracting work, but it does not guarantee contract awards. Your results still depend on registration status, capability proof, past performance, pricing, deadlines, competition, buyer fit, and official solicitation requirements. If you are unsure, start with the free tools, then bring the output into Marcus for a grounded next-step review.

Start lower if you are still learning. Upgrade only when the work you need to do matches the higher plan: live opportunity review, document intelligence, bid package support, or recurring capture planning.

Pricing FAQ

Should I start with Beginner or Intermediate? Choose Beginner if you are still learning SAM.gov, NAICS, set-asides, and capability statement basics. Choose Intermediate when you have live opportunities to review.

When is Professional worth it? Choose Professional when you need bid package work, capture planning, outreach workflow, and a more serious pursuit-management process.

Can I cancel? Yes. Billing is handled through Stripe, and customers can manage payment method, invoices, and cancellation through the Stripe customer portal after signup.

Does a paid plan guarantee wins? No. GovScout is decision-support software. It helps organize evidence, risks, documents, and next actions, but it cannot guarantee awards, eligibility, pricing success, or buyer decisions.

What should I test first? Bring one real opportunity or one realistic sample into Marcus and look for a case file, evidence trace, risks, and next actions before upgrading further.
